Jason Georgiades is a Cypriot-American, award-winning documentary filmmaker, producer, and editor with more than 20 years of international experience in film and television production. An M.F.A. graduate in Film Directing from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), he developed his storytelling approach through workshops led by acclaimed filmmakers including Michael Almereyda, Charles Burnett, and James Mangold.
His work has been produced for HBO Films, Warner Bros., VICE Media, and The Hollywood Reporter. He directed and produced the feature documentary Desert Age, distributed by The Orchard (Sony Music), while his short film Through Fire She Calls was acquired by Gunpowder & Sky for DUST. His feature film Beneath the Green received multiple awards, including Best Feature, Best Editing, and Best Color Grading.
When he's not making films, Jason enjoys raising his Shiba Inu, Fuji, building furniture, and playing tabletop games.
